Will my area of law be covered?

The Annual Gold Coast Legal Conference continues to feature dedicated sessions for your area of practice, while also expanding the program with fresh topics and

innovative formats. View the full program to learn more.

How many CPD points will I earn?

Delegates can earn up to 10 CPD points in total; 6 points from in-person sessions on the day and 4 points from an on-demand recording provided after the event.

Is the conference recorded?

No, the Annual Gold Coast Legal Conference will not be recorded.

Will I get access to presenter materials?

Some presenter materials may be available on the conference app and some will be sent to attendees post conference. Materials availability is subject to presenter approval.

REGISTERING FOR THE EVENT

Who should attend the Annual Gold Coast Legal Conference?

The conference is designed for Gold Coast solicitors at all levels. The program is built to support growth, spark ideas and connect you with the people and knowledge that can shape your future in the legal profession.

Can I share my registration with another person?

Splitting or sharing a registration is not allowed under any circumstance. You cannot share your registration with another delegate, even if you only want to attend

part of the Annual Gold Coast Legal Conference.

Can I register to attend just one session of the conference?

No. Registrations for the Annual Gold Coast Legal Conference are for the full day, which covers attendance to the entire day’s program. Delegates cannot register

to attend a single session or a half-day session.

When do registrations close?

Standard registration is available until 5pm, Wednesday 3 June 2026, unless sold out prior.

Can I cancel my registration?

If you need to cancel your registration, please send your request via email to events@qls.com.au.

If we receive your cancellation at least 7 days before the event (not including the event day), we'll refund your registration fee minus a 30% cancellation fee. If the cancellation request comes in 7 days or less before the event (again, not including the event day), unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer a refund. Do I still need to register for the networking events?

Yes, to assist us with delivering our networking opportunities to a high standard, we kindly ask that you register for the events you wish to attend.

Is the event hybrid?

We will not be offering a livestream of the event on the day. Attendance is in-person only.

How do I get there on public transport?

Train – Nerang is the nearest train station to the RACV Royal Pines Resort. You can then take the 740 bus to Ross St at Royal Pines or take a taxi from Nerang train station.

Bus – The 740 bus stops at Ross St at Royal Pines. It is then a short walk to the RACV Royal Pines Resort.

ON THE DAY

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for all conference sessions and the social function is business, or smart casual. Some attendees find the conference rooms cool so we recommend

bringing a light jumper or jacket.

How to ask a question in a session?

If you wish to ask a question or make a comment during the session, please raise your hand and wait for the microphone or use the Live Q&A tab within the app for that session. The chair will address these at an appropriate time within the session.

Is the conference catered?

As with most QLS events, we have a delicious and plentiful food and drink offering, including free coffee and juice. Food will be available during breaks. Water stations will be spread throughout the conference.
